Infant Program
At WCC, we understand the unique needs of infants and strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for optimal development. The Infant Program is designed to provide a safe, loving, and enriching space where your little one can grow and thrive. Our specially trained teachers regularly implement music and movement, language, gross/fine motor skills, social/emotional development, cognitive skills, art/sensory time, sign language, and infant massage. Teachers will also assist your infant in practicing developmental milestones like tummy time, rolling, sitting up, crawling, standing, walking, transitioning to solid foods, etc.
In our Unit 2 building, we care for infants 6 weeks through 12 months old, with a 1:4 ratio. Our infant spots are for FULL-TIME care only.
*PLEASE NOTE: Our hours of operation for infant care differ. The infant room is open from 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM.
Preschool Program
WCC’s Preschool Program fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in young children. Our preschool children are prepared to start Kindergarten!
Our daily learning schedule includes circle time, art, outdoor play (weather permitting), fine/gross motor activities, and time to embrace self-help skills (ex. zipping a coat, tying shoes, and potty training). WCC implements the Funshine Express curriculum, a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets state and national standards for early learning. While each class explores monthly themes, there is also an emphasis on learning colors, shapes, numbers, sign language, Spanish, and more! Our teachers are encouraged to add unique art and activities to enhance our professional curriculum.
A family has access to their child’s daily card, located in the class circle time area. The daily card shares information about the child’s lunch, nap, potty, behavior, mood, etc. Families are also welcome to speak directly to a staff member regarding their child’s day.
WCC preschool care is for ages 1-5 in our Unit 1 building. We offer full-time and 3-day part-time schedules.
Before and After School Care
WCC provides before and after-school care for children developing and sharpening their independence skills, while still requiring adult care and supervision. Program opportunities include completing homework, spending quality time with friends, creating art projects, participating in group games, exploring through play, and celebrating throughout the year (ex. Haunted House, Christmas party, and more).
WCC transports to the Dover and West York school districts. We aim to remain open for early dismissals, in-service days, snow days, and virtual learning days.

THIS IS SUMMER CAMP!!!
Summer at WCC includes a wide range of entertainment to keep your child occupied while school is out. Fun themes, sports clinics, field trips, visitors, creative art projects, special snacks, parties, challenges, water play, and charity events are a few examples of what we offer to make summer shine! Our private, 1 acre park is on site, providing endless opportunities for summer fun!
