My son had his first day today, and the staff made me feel so welcome! I've worked in child care, but it was still so hard to leave him in the morning. I called to check in on him at lunch, and I was so happy to hear that he ate lunch, enjoyed painting, and actually fell asleep right away (his first time sleeping on something other than a crib). I feel so relieved, and I know my son will be in good hands. I can't wait to see how he progresses! I feel that being there for just the first day has already helped with his eating habits! He ate more for dinner tonight than I've ever seen him eat in his 17 months!

It amazes me every day what our daughters learn at WCC, that we just don’t realize. Just the other day, our 4 year old was randomly reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. She also told me how many hearts a worm has! She was very shy when she started 2 ½ years ago. The staff at Weigelstown have helped her come out of her shell and feel more confident to enter into new situations. All the teachers have been wonderful and caring. Both girls love going to school. It is a comfort when you have to work, to know your children are being well cared for, and that they are happy to be there. It takes some of the guilt away of being a working mom!

I have a three year old daughter who has been in daycare since she was 6 months old. Just recently, I decided to switch daycares because she wasn’t advancing on a lot of things, and I was just generally unhappy with the care received. Many of my mom friends recommended Weigelstown Child Care. I decided to give it a shot. Best decision I have ever made! She has been here for about 3 months and has surpassed all her goals that the doctor put in place. She absolutely loves going to “school!” They have been warm, friendly, and responsive since the moment I first reached out. If you need a daycare that is reasonably priced and will exceed your expectations….this is it.

Took a tour of their facility today. Very impressed!!!! As soon as I walked through the door, I could see and smell how clean this place is. Their employees were super nice. I am super excited for my son to start here. He actually asked me on the way home if he could start there tomorrow.

God bless all of you wonderful people who put in all your time and care to all the children. Our last grandchild is about to head out to kindergarten in the fall. With your guidance and knowledge, our kiddos have grown and left with so much you have taught them. We will miss seeing all those smiling faces and most of all your sweet kindness. We thank you for all you do. We are very happy to have had our kiddos go through WCCC, and very thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Bill for giving them a place to go (which made our lives easier). We will think of you always with warm hearts.

We started attending WCC when my firstborn was 6 months old – 6 years later and it’s still the best decision we’ve made regarding child care! WCC isn’t just a daycare. I can walk out the doors knowing my children are well-loved, happy, safe, and cared for at the highest level. The directors, teachers, and staff are all kind, compassionate, and take the time to get to know all of the kids (and parents!) on a personalized level. They make my children feel special and help cultivate their social, emotional, and academic learning each day, while simultaneously attending to their individual needs. Every day I get the same response when I ask my children about their day: “I had so much fun!” That's because the teachers make every day MATTER. WCC hits the mark on all elements parents look for in child care. Going "above and beyond" is their normal, and I’m forever grateful for WCC and the huge part they’ve played in my childrens' childhood.

We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention our 5 year old daughter received at WCC. The staff was nurturing, the environment was safe and stimulating, and our daughter was always excited to attend! It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands while we were at work! She’s excelling in Kindergarten!
